Most of the fake websites are done up just enough to look correct to the unawares eyes. But for those aware, the fake websites are fairly easy to recognize if paying attention, here are some examples to be aware of. The domain name may have misspelling or substituted letters like Cyrillic “a” or a capital “I” for a “l”. Try sticking to https websites, they often display a padlock, which means they have a valid security certificate. The website itself is likely to have poor spelling or grammar and low-quality images. Fake shopping and financial websites might display deals that seem too good to be true, and it likely is, remember, nothing is ever free.
