There is an undeniable need for Cybersecurity Analyst, which is why it is a field/industry with practically zero percent unemployment. But if the need is so great, then it makes you wonder how if there is any lack of or “need” for attackers? Clearly not, if the need for analyst is so great, what factors drive more people to be an attacker vice being a defender? Were they taught or raised in that life? Do they have social influences having them participate or teach them vice encourage them to do better? Or is there a large array of ripe and juicy targets, so cybercrime is just, well easy? Determinism and victim precipitation need not be the only factors that lead to cyber, perhaps it is simply a numbers game, and one day when Cybersecurity is fully staffed, maybe cybercrime might lessen.
