Exploring Culture
We learned about the differences in culture amungst the Latin American communities as well as their differences to the culture that is in the United States. Some of the differences we talked about were the types of influencers they have, their identity, and steriotypes that they have in their countries.
Chapter 18 Exploración Cultural

Engaging in Communities and Interpersonal Communication
We have used a lot of class time to practice our Spanish with one another. I have been able to tak esome of the classroom experiance and use it with people I know who are from spanish speaking countries. One of my coworkers is from Columbia and I will try to talk to her in Spanish whenever i get the oportunity to do so. We also got to speak with other Native Spanish speakers during the semester through a program called talk abroad. I spoke with the same person both times and his name was Allan and he is from Nicaragua. The first one we talked about was steriotypes, identities, and experiences while the second one was about influencers and customs.
Presentational Speaking
This semester, we did a presentational speaking assignment for almost every chapter this semester. This attached assignment required us to make a video talking about where we are from and the steriotypes that go along with it.
Presentational Writting
Just like with the speaking, our writtings were assigned for us to write about the same topics our speaking presentations were about.
Chapter 17 Rough Draft Writting Assignment

Interpretive Listening
Through our assignments, we had many that required us listen to an audio and answer questions based on it. Most if not all of the listening activities were in focusing on the grammer side of the language.

Interpretive Reading
Some of our assignments also required us to read a paragraph or story and we needed to pick things out from the writtings. The example provided is one where we needed to choose the correct verb form to go in the blank.
