The major I am pursuing is nursing. I am pursuing nursing because I have a love and passion for just taking care of people and wanting people to be at their best. Nursing is so important because you are responsible to take care of people who aren’t able to take care of yourself.
My grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and has been living with my immediate family for about nine years. Though I don’t have any professional experience, I do have experience in things like giving bed baths, inserting a female catheter, and safely and efficiently moving a patient from place to place.
