During the month of November, I was tasked to support the company I’m doing an internship with, Team Logic IT located in Suffolk Virginia with onboarding of a new account, Producers Peanuts Co in Suffolk Virginia. The location was a manufacturing company that specialized in roasted peanuts and making peanut butter. I was tasked with the job of updating the companies computers, and making sure that our company was listed as an administrator on every computer at the business. The reason why we did this is so that just in case any of the computers are having an issue we can remotely log in to the device remotely to see what is wrong with it. One thing that was our first issue with Producers peanuts computers is that most of their computers were not up to date. So, for most of the computers we were able to run a Windows update to see if the computer could download windows 11 for free. Other computers required us to log in to our Microsoft account and purchase a license in order for the computer to be able to update to windows 11. While we were updating the computers a Producers Peanut staff member mentioned to us that they had a new printer that needed setting up. To remedy the problem, I disconnected the old printer, and unboxed the new one and set it up to the companies WIFI. Our team was commended for the work we did and as a result one of the employees printed a document and stated that the new printer printed way faster that the old one.
