Computers are a huge essential in today’s world, and they have impacted us in a positive and negative way. Before computers existed many people had significant paper documents to store. This could of been work papers, bills, and many more things that are important documentations to society, but computers create a safe environment. Computers have made this act way more clean, efficient, and easy to store. Now in days people have all their documents stored into a computer, or some people pay their bills online. This keeps society on track on what they have, instead of having a load of papers to be worried about, and it also protects these documents from being in the hand of others. Another reason why computers have made the world safe is how it has improved communication within people. Having good communication can definitely avoid many situations like misunderstandings, false information, etc. We have the ability to use several social media apps like Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, and others to communicate quickly. Another reason why computers have made this world safe and has impacted in a positive way is the ability to be informed with anything we want to know. This can be the local news, information for school topics, etc. It helps us be more aware of what can be going on around us. Since we consistently want to be aware of things; that means that we can over use our technology and can get very distracted while using them. We over use and lose our mind. The second negative impact is the steal of data from a malicious person or in other words a “hacker”. There is cyber harassment and other ways people hurt others through a computer. The last point is the health of our eyes. Staring at a screen for a long period of time can damage our eyes, but at the end of the day. Everything has it’s pros and cons.
