Technology is a very significant substance in today’s world. It’s a system that never stops advancing. Technology changes as time does too, but this can be a negative thing or a positive. Crime is increasing more and more in a digital way. This fears many businesses, and organizations that have their money as a huge essential to the life of the business in general. Since their is so much damage being caused; the real question is. What is the overlap between criminal justice and cybercrime? The answer is that they are being overlapped and it’s because this country grows in so many aspects and technology is one of them and crime is another. A cyber crime has now been converted into something beyond normal to the justice. This crime is also caused physically by trying to obtain some type of object that has significant data and information. This is all being overlapped due how much damage is being done and the distinct ways it is being done. It takes some time to actually stop these crimes since usually the malicious person is working his harm digitally, and it’s difficult to sight who is clearly doing the crime. How does this overlap relate to the other disciplines discussed in this class? Well throughout the whole semester we have had to read multiple articles on the aspects of criminal justice and how the cyber world can relate. We see that a cyber crime is just like any other crime, and that’s how everything correlates. This overlap we are discussing about is a substance that will never end. Technology will advance and prosper and with that being said; crime will also increase. There will always be new ways of attacking and this attack is just like any other harm like violence, or anything in that sort. This is a growing overlap!
