There will always be a cost to everything in this world. If we desire something it will have a cost, to gain a position in something we have to earn it by demonstrating why that position should be given, and that’s with anything. In other words; nothing is free. When we finally obtain that substance we desired, usually it’s for some type of benefit, and this happens too many businesses in this country. Organizations should take in consideration into implementing a well cybersecurity program within their teams. In my opinion it should be a significant essential for a business for many reasons. Many don’t take this with much importance but it’s because of the lack of knowledge towards cyber crime. Several organizations use devices but have no idea what can be happening on another side with malicious person attacking in a digital way and form. As we said before; nothing is free, so what are the costs and benefits of developing cybersecurity programs in businesses? Obviously it depends on how big the organization is, and their budget of spending. Many small organizations can usually spend from $3,000 – $24,000 a year to have a well cyber security program, and the numbers of huge well known organizations have a drastic difference between the small ones. Microsoft spends about one billion in security a year, and it’s so shocking how the U.S. Government spends 18.79 billion U.S. dollars in security a year, but if you really think about it. All this money being invested, and inverted is all a benefit for the business, but what exactly are the benefits? It protects the companies credentials, it protects networks, data, and anything significant which can be access to systems involving like money for example which is something that every business takes as a precious thing. That’s why it is very important for every business to have a well built and constructed cyber security program, because being attacked in a digital way can definitely a tragedy, and a horror for any business.
