At this point in the semester I have not been studying as much as I should be. I try t make the time t fit in some studying, but I always end up either not having the time or doing something else instead. My procrastination is something I am still trying to work on. I tend to do my homework in my dorm. It is quiet in my dorm during the day when I work on my homework. This semester I have not tried any new types of study techniques. Throughout high school I tried many ways to study, but only one worked well for me. I have stuck to my one way of studying since I then. I take notes during my classes and repeat my notes over and over in my head until I can recite them. My transition to college has gone well so far. The main thing that has surprised me so far is the professors. In high school my teachers told me my professors will be harsh and misunderstanding. Unlike what my high school teachers said, my college professors are the opposite. My professors are all understanding and compassionate. My favorite thing about campus so far is how connected everything and everyone is, its like one big community. My hardest assignment so far has been my rhetorical essay. I met my professor at the writing center to get help for my essay. I am thankful for the help my professor provided. I attended an interest meeting for the equestrian club and the pre-med club. However, I was not able to join either club due to costs and availability.
