How cyber technology creates opportunities for workplace deviance is it allows employee behavior that breaks the company norms. This can create many problems in the workplace. Since technology is always growing and expanding it leaves room for deviance to come into play. Someone who has experience in cyber technology knows a lot about the ins and outs. They could easily manipulate their advantage in many ways. For example if an employee doesn’t like how much they are making at their cybersecurity job and demands a raise. If he isn’t issued one he Could easily sell out all of the company’s information. Or for another example people could use your company’s technology for inappropriate things. Searching up things that shouldn’t be searching and exploiting others peoples personal info on the internet through your company’s computer. Harassment is also another one harassing other technology companies and making threats thinking it’s something cool to do.  They could also sabotage the company as a result of the companies data loss and glitching the system to their advantage just because they know how because of cyber technology. There are many ups to cybersecurity and cyber technology.But with those ups, there are downs that can lead to a very bad company standings resulting in the loss of data, workers, and reputation. There are many ways to stop these things from happening.Like making their workers sign a contract. And also running a background check so the company knows who they’re dealing with when they go to hire. Most companies don’t see these things happening to them because that’s the last thing they are worried about. Companies are more worried about other hackers and scammers doing something  to their companies but not their own workers and that’s how things fall apart. When running or working for a company you have to look at everyone and hold everyone to a certain standard so workplace deviance is stopped on site.
