There are many majors offered by ODU That relate to cyber security but my top four majors that would most relate to cyber security would have to be Accounting, Computer Sciences, Business, and Network Engineering. I feel like those Majors play the biggest roles in cyber security today. Many of those majors allow cybersecurity to grow due to the expand of Technology. First I want to start off with accounting, many people in the world have bank accounts,shopping accounts, or any type of platform that requires them to sign in, sign out  and allow us to know information about the person.Cybersecurity is very important for those kind of things. Let’s say if you make a bank account, your bank account needs that reassurance of security to make sure nothing happens to your money. Same with a Google account, it needs that security to make sure no one’s logging into your Google Drive. Also what plays a part in that is Computer Sciences, Computer Sciences not only teaches you about technology but it’s part of cyber security. In order to really pursue Computer Sciences you need that background of cybersecurity learning how to read code, writing code, understanding it all plays a part in cybersecurity. Computer Sciences allows jobs to prosper as technology is growing. Another major that plays into cybersecurity is business, believe it or not every business needs a type of security within itself no matter how big the business is or how small the business is. It needs that security. A business requires a lot of time and effort and half of the time business owners are so caught up in their business they forget how important security is to make sure nothing goes wrong. Their business and their financial makings  plays a part in cyber security. Which allows  the business owner to be notified when certain transactions are made and unfamiliar purchases and actions have been applied. The last major is network engineering, I feel like it says it in the name anything Network or engineering involves code understanding in the internet. That all plays a part in cyber security, we all need cybersecurity in our day-to-day life because it plays a very big part in our society.
