My name is Kristen Setliff and I am 22 years old. I am currently in my final year at Old Dominion University and I will be receiving my Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences with a major in Health Services Administration and a minor in Management. I started off at Tidewater Community College where I received my Associate of Science. As I am preparing to begin my professional career, I hope to land a job in a healthcare leadership or administrative position. My internship is at Sentara Health, specifically in the Physical Therapy Department located in Virginia Beach. Sentara’s goals are to improve patient health every day and some of their values include people, quality, patient safety, service, and integrity. Dr. Clark is my preceptor. Dr. Clark is a Physical Therapist and a Team Coordinator at Sentara Physical Therapy. She has been with Sentara for about ten years now. She manages the departments finances, monitors the budget, supervises healthcare services, and ensures the clinic is running smoothly all while improving patient care. I look forward to applying and expanding my skills and knowledge during my time at Sentara Health.
