As the culminating project of my ODU course, CYSE 280: Windows Systems Management and Security, I was tasked with writing about a Windows system-based topic of my choosing. I decided to document the evolution of both hardware and software based security in Windows systems management. Through this knowledge-based article, I demonstrated an an understanding how Windows security systems developed over the past 40 years, and the circumstances and events that influenced those developments. Throughout the article, I am able to give a foundational overview of how these systems operated but not so far in depth that the general technical audience would be lost. This demonstrates my ability to convey and communication technical concepts to in a manner a general audience could digest.
