explain the differences and similarities
Working
- The working portfolio is work that is put together to show growth and improvement throughout. This differs from the other portfolios because it will typically take up most of your time and it is based on collection of work.
Reflective
- The reflective portfolio is meant to serve as evidence to match all the things the person has worked on. It is a way to be able to reflect on the things that were learned and then be able to state what they would do in the future with the obtained knowledge, or state any further information on what would need to be learned in the future. This is similar to working portfolios because it is a great way to see growth and improvement throughout work.
Connected
- The connected portfolio is where a person would add any outside information, hyperlinks, or tables/charts to connect and match all the work together. This differs from the other portfolios because of how special it is to electronic portfolios and how electronic-heavy this part is. It is important to have the up to date software to be able to do this part.
presentation portfolios.
- Presentation portfolios are portfolios that will be presented to jobs, organizations, or agencies to show the work that they have done. This can be done virtually or in person. This is typically the end of the electronic portfolio development process and differs from the others because it is taking all of this information and then being able to present it.
explain any previous experience you have had with traditional and electronic portfolios in the past.
- I’ve had no experience with traditional portfolios. However, when it comes to electronic portfolios, I’ve had my fair share of that. Last Year in one of my first Cyber Security classes, I created a portfolio in the version of a website with all of my class blogs/journals in it. If I’m not mistaken, it was an assessment Portfolio.
