\n\n \n\nIn my Philosophy course I took (3225E), I learned a lot about cybercrime. One of my new skills is being able to analyze and think critically about whistleblowing crimes<\/strong> within the United States and other countries. I wrote a case analysis regarding this topic and was able to analyze it and get a great score. \n\n \n\nOne of the skills that I am most proud of is my collaboration and teamwork skills<\/strong>. Being an athlete has taught me the importance of working together and supporting those who are on your team. This will benefit me in almost every aspect of my life, whether that be playing professional football or becoming a Red Team Member. Here is a picture of my team.\n\n \n

\n\n \n\nOne of the skills I picked up while taking CYSE 280 was understanding how to work operating systems including file auditing<\/strong>. Not only did I learn how to work them, but I learned what they were and their importance. \n\n \n\nBeing a football player and a Cybersecurity major has taught me how to pay important attention to detail.<\/strong> From reading and remembering plays to understanding the differences in cybercrime, I have been able to teach myself how to pay close attention to detail. Alongside this skill, I was also about to learn decision-making skills. After reading the field I am tasked with deciding where the opponent is going and stopping them. Decision-making<\/strong> is important both on the field and off, and would be very useful when becoming a Red Team Member. I have provided a photo of me in position reading the play as it starts to show my attention to detail and then my decision-making.\n\n \n

\n\n \n\nAnother skill I was able to obtain during my semester was understanding the importance of user data, privacy, and confidentiality<\/strong>. \n\n \n\nA skill that has gotten me through my years of college has been stress management.<\/strong> This is important in any career that I may have because I need to be able to continue pushing forward when life gets difficult. I have added a link to different meditation videos I listen to to relieve my stress before a game or a difficult time in life. \n\n \n\nFlexibility<\/strong> is a skill I just began learning and has benefited me in many ways. Being flexible and able to manage time is a skill that is needed in any career. I have attached my football game schedule along with the classes I took this semester to show how flexible I have become and how I have learned to time manage<\/strong> between both football and school.\n\n \n
