
Description: The following collection development plan was created by first identifying a low-scoring subject area in a local school. I discovered that science is an area with low test scores, especially for students that are economically disadvantaged. I then conducted a random sample of the science section and found that 41.5% of the science books are unattractive. Using this information, I created a collection development plan with the goal of improving the science resources in the school and therefore increasing science test scores.
