Social science is the science of a group of people and people , that is usually in the fields of
psychology , sociology , and economics. In this case the job of cyber security analyst would be
closely related to economics and sociology. If one were to look at how cyber threats have
changed over the years , and how broad cyber security is, one would be able to predict how cyber
threats will change over time. There was a time that a cyber crime would be someone calling a
person getting their credit card information and running it up online , which by all means is still a
crime but now they are more advanced than they once were. A cyber analyst looks at trends and
graphs and detection software to see when something is wrong and also to see if they can prevent
an attack from happening before it affects major components of a company. A lot of companies
invest a lot of money into cyber security, the youtuber mentions that an entry level job is starting
at 100k , which for an entry level is a lot of money. She also mentions that all the major
companies have a cyber security branch , because they need to train people internally as well as
look out for external threats. Companies are starting to figure out that it is cheaper to pay a cyber
security analyst a lot than to get their company hacked and halt production. There is also a
supply and depend for the analyst that contributes to the pay.
