The first exam is always the most challenging as it sets the stage for what I should be learning in each of the chapters. After taking the notes for each of the chapters I would also do the Chapter Overviews after reading the appropriate pages in the textbook. The week leading up to the exam I filled out the study guide and made sure that I provided examples for the ones I felt like needed them in order to get the most out of the review. During this process I learned that it takes a tremendous amount of time and dedication to feel even slightly prepared. However, after taking Cross-Cultural psychology I came to this class prepared for what work was waiting ahead. Going through the test and chapters and reviewing what I could improve on is going to improve my strategies for test taking as I begin to understand where I need to put more attention to.
