Write a journal entry about how you think
the media influences our understanding about cybersecurity

While media has a heavy influence on many things in our lives it is clear to see the medias conception of cybersecurity. I notice that in a lot of movie scenes they like to jazz up the technical looks and computer usage. While Hollywood is dramatized so is their view on cybersecurity. From the medias view point some scenes to represent the actuality of what some professionals may be able to do. From these viewpoints one may be able to get a jest of what this field entails. Otherwise, I feel as though the medias outlook on cybersecurity is very broad and pictures it as a very technical subject. Some people would need to further study cybersecurity to be able to tell the real from the myths of the media. I don’t think the media represents cybersecurity in a bad way because it does do its best to follow real world scenarios but it does not provide the clearest understanding of the subject.
