With billions of users worldwide, social media services have become a prominent presence that will continue to grow yearly. However, after overhearing that some of my classmates do not associate themselves with any social media platforms, I wondered if they have had any bad experiences or fears with their services. Upon further research I found a study article titled Level of Engagement with Social Networking Services and Fear of Online Victimization: The Role of Online Victimization (2021) that focused on this question of mine.
