I was a Petty Officer Third Class responsible for the cleanliness, organization, service, and operations of engineering spaces. I was in charge of several engineers and was responsible for their training and proper compliance with policies and legal documentation. During my service, apart from my duties as an Engineman, I had to understand and comply with policies that protected the integrity of computer systems and take annual training exercises to maintain a proficient understanding of the importance of cyber awareness and identify suspicious behavior (terrorism, phishing, etc.) that can endanger myself or those of my company. I spent my time in the military performing my duties to the best of my abilities, eventually awarded the Navy & Marine Corps Achievement Medal and completing my service with good conduct.
