Researchers love to find themselves a great amount of organized data when conducting their research. PrivacyRights.org offers an Excel spread of publicly available information on data breaches that span from 2005 to 2018. This information gives also gives research information on what kind of breach is was, the type of business breached, their name, and state. The data can help find timelines where more breaches were prominent and what businesses are targeted the most or are slacking on their security. I did not know that such data was collected for a long time for researchers to use, which could help dive deeper into breaches.
