Note: Please do not click on the fake websites

Fake Websites:

https://teechip.com/

https://www.vivobarefotsale.com/

https://www.belenkasale.com/

Real Websites:

https://www.target.com

https://www.amazon.com

https://www.usps.com

A couple ways you can authenticate a website are:

Look for errors in the URL & on the website – Many fake websites contain grammatical and punctuation errors.

Confirm the contact page – You can confirm contact details by checking the email, address, and/or phone number. You can check a phone number by googling it to see if it’s a scam.

How can you tell a website is fake compared to the real websites?

Although the fake websites contain “HTTPS”, the websites are unprofessional. These websites contain slashes at the end of the URL, has false information, and contains errors. Whereas for the real websites, their websites are professional. They contain no errors, the URL matches the domain of the business, and is user-friendly.
