First off, I would like to say that I have really enjoyed this class. I have enjoyed getting to see sports through a new lens. Initially, I was speaking to our professor about my degree plan when he told me about this class that he was offering. On this call, I was able to get a preface of how the class worked. Immediately, I was intrigued due to my love for sports. When I got into the class and started doing the work, I was surprised to see how interactive it was.

I enjoyed getting to utilize a journal as a way to complete the assignments. For some reason, the journal method made the work feel like I was posting on my social media. I also enjoyed getting to reach out to professionals in the field to get a sense of what we were learning. I think that this activity helped bridge the gap between learning and real-world application of methods. I also appreciated the freedom we had in this class to choose what we wanted to write about. I specifically enjoyed getting to curate a journal that was to my liking. It felt like I was creating a MySpace page again. Since this was my first time using WordPress, I was excited to see a new format of creation. All throughout college, I have been asked to create various Wix pages for assignments. In all honesty, I was excited to try something new as I have grown tired of Wix over time.

My favorite assignment from this semester was getting to write about the philanthropy that sports players have committed to. I say this because I have always appreciated how Jalen Hurts has demonstrated his philanthropy over the years. Nonetheless, I have enjoyed this class and the material that has accompanied it. I believe that these teachings being branched out into an interpersonal activity, such as sports, made for a more enjoyable experience.
