Artifact 3
This is the artifact from module 12. The object was to circle the numbers we thought were forms of aggression. This assignment was interesting because I know everyone has a different opinion on what counts as aggression. Out of the ones I circled numbers 5 and 7 are both pretty aggressive. To be aggressive I associate it with unnecessary actions. I liked this archive because it really got me thinking about how aggression is different to other people.
Technically all of these are forms of aggression. Someone who likes animals may find hunting aggressive because the animal is innocent. For me, unnecessary aggression would be the worst. Doing this assignment just opened my eyes to how many forms of aggression there are. There are physical and nonphysical as well as aggression that could be thought of but never acted on.
Artifact 2
This is the artifact from module 8. The assignment had me assign stereotypes to different groups and then compare them. It was interesting to see how stereotypes change through the years. Not to mention stereotypes are different depending on the person. Stereotypes are still changing as we become more inclusive of people through the years.
We hear so much and label certain stereotypes because of what we hear from the older generation and textbooks in school. These factors mold the certain stereotypes we give a group. We do not get to experience the groups for ourselves and form our own stereotypes easily. We still have someone else’s influence no matter what. This image is an overview of my adjectives versus others throughout the year.
Artifact 1
This artifact is from module 3. I had to ask people questions about similarities attracting people versus opposites attracting people. Out of the people I asked, most were not suprised on this evidence. Those who answered about similarities said it would help people relate to each other and it would be easy to have conversations. The similarities help people form a bond and understand each other more. The people that answered about opposites attracting said people could be intrigues by certain aspects they are not used to. It could compliment people and they can learn about different aspects of things. This was interesting to see since the activity was to ask one person only one of them. They were put on the spot and just had to give an opinion on the question I picked to ask. It goes to show that both of these can be true, it just depends on the person.
