I would say compared to the beginning of the semester I learned the things I was expecting to learn in this course. By going module by module and having the jeopardy reviews I was able to learn the material and understand the different concepts and how they apply to real life. Learning this material helped me understand how people view things the way they do. This could be with themselves or others.
I would put more time into this course if I took it over again. I would really try to apply the things I learned to real life. However, using this as insight has helped me with my relationships with different people. I picked a cap and diploma picture to show I “graduated” from the course. I am ready to take this knowledge I learned and apply it to my everyday life. I will take my knowledge of stereotyping and help give me insight into when I become a doctor. Anything from this course however will help me succeed at my future job and interact with people the proper way.

The article talked about how men and woman have their conflicts due to their difference in certain situations. Due to the different way men and woman think about things this can cause conflicts. Another thing in relationships is men and women will expect something from the other which causes problems. Men can get upset when women are more in touch with their emotions for certain situations or think they will address an issue when in reality the woman may think the man can read her mind. Meanwhile sometimes a woman can think there is an issue and expect the man to address it when he may think there is no issue. It is small things like these that can upset men and woman in a relationship.

I chose this image to represent difference between men and women in terms of relationships. It shows well the difference in how they can clash in a relationship. One main example is how logic is used with men and emotions are used more with women in terms of thinking and experiencing things. In a cliche way, men speak with their minds and woman speak with their hearts which can not always go the right way.

Self-Regulation and Emotional Intelligence have a tie and people should have a great understanding of one for the other. To have self-regulation you should have a good understanding of your emotions and how to control them in situations. This can be done in many ways by knowing how to express them or repress them. To me, emotional intelligence is understanding your emotions and knowing how to express them. Some people do not understand how to control their emotions for situations. People may react the wrong way due to their lower emotional intelligence

These are my results for an EQ test I took. I would say it is pretty accurate. I do control my emotions well and I know how to handle them. When I am freaking out I will take a second to calm down and go on with whatever. I was expecting it to be a little lower because sometimes I overreact or underreact to things and don’t realize right away.

To prepare for the exam I went and read through the textbook chapter once and made some notes based on those chapters. I then went and reviewed the jeopardy video to see the material applied in the question form. Once the review sheet was posted I went section by section and wrote down the answers that I knew. The ones I was not sure on I would go and look up and review those consistently. This study method worked for me and I ended up doing well on the exam. Therefore, I will be using this method for future exams in this class. The only thing I would change is getting a head start on the material.

I picked this image because it shows an accurate representation of me as a student doing my work. Once I am by myself and have my material together I can focus and get some studying done for any class but especially this class.

Music is a thing that links people together and can always find a common ground. It is a thing most people bring up in conversation. Even if someone doesn’t like the same music it is usually the one thing people are open to listening to and exploring. Everyone always finds at least one song that they all know and can listen to together. It either brings them together due to nostalgia or just having a common ground which can be important when forming relationships with other people.
