Instructional Delivery

Differentiation is vital in instructional delivery in order to teach in today’s diversified classrooms. This semester I observed and learned a variety of techniques used in my FL452/456 class and practicum classroom. I instructed my practicum students while using props, authentic texts in the target language, videos, group discussion, and more in order to differentiate the lessons I taught. While I was teaching the students in my practicum classroom, I learned how quickly a teacher must adapt instructional delivery as student needs arise. In doing so, I will be able to make adjustments and teach to the different learning styles in my classroom.
