Students learn theory and standards related to the teaching of a world language and how to apply it in the classroom; students also learn how to write daily, unit, and yearly plans, reflections, rubric for assessments, formulate their philosophy of teaching, and put together a teaching portfolio. Upon completion of this course students have the knowledge and tools necessary to be successful in student teaching and subsequently as a classroom teacher.
