My name is Lauryn Jones and I am an English major at Old Dominion University. Although I began attending Old Dominion University pursuing a completely different education and career path, I feel as though I have finally found what I love to do and want to continue to do. I am a Special Education Teacher Assistant at a middle school in Chesapeake, and I truly love my job and the kids I assist daily. I have always had a love for English and writing and the goal I am pursuing is to become an English teacher. It is fulfilling for me to know that I am helping these children whether it be educationally, emotionally, or mentally. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
My professional interests consist of psychology, criminology, and communications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
