About Me

My name is Lavontae Lassiter and I am a first-year student here at Old Dominion University studying Sports Management. I am from Fayetteville North Carolina, although I was born in Norfolk Virginia. My ultimate end goal as far as an career if to become a professional football coach, which is why I am studying sports management. A injury took me out of football my senior year and although I was unable to physically compete my passion for the game was still there, I couldn’t even begin to fathom what my life without football would be like so I had to think of someway I could still be involved heavily with the sports while applying all my knowledge I learned from the game over time, so I thought what better way than coaching. I hope to gain more knowledge of the sports industry and enough resources to be able to pursue a successful career in coaching.
