This section of your portfolio is the first to be viewed by visitors and should provide a compelling introduction and invitation to view the portfolio. The portfolio opens to an introduction that includes a video-recorded message, introducing the author and providing an overall synthesis of the entire portfolio.

You should replace the template photo and otherwise individualize this page. The video recording could be a video of you talking but it could also be a narrated slideshow, an avatar, or an animated video. Consider that future employers might be the audience for the portfolio; how do you want to present yourself?
