Instructions

Each artifact you have chosen should have its own page in your ePortfolio. Anything going onto the “Artifacts” pages should be a complete replication of an assignment from the program, without alternations. Assignments should not be altered or updated prior to adding them to your ePortfolio.

For each artifact, you should provide a brief description of the artifact (max of 100 words) and “tag” the elements from the matrix that the artifact represents. For these tags, include the element number and the text of the element. Example: “1.2 – Effective and knowledgeable teacher”. You do not need to include further information on the artifact page about the individual elements.

Presentation is accomplished through embedding documents, linking to websites, and uploading media when appropriate. In presenting artifacts, work to make each page appealing and easy to view. When possible, make it so the viewer does not have to navigate to too many other webpages or download numerous files. Attempt to reduce additional clicks to other files or requiring downloading by embedding images and documents in your ePortfolio. For links to webpages, consider including a thumbnail or visual, rather than including just a text link or URL.

Refer back the the main page on “Artifacts” for information on the selection and walkthroughs of your artifacts.

Once the above instructions have been followed, delete them. Leave only the artifact, its descriptions, reflection, and any other requirements.
