Interpretive, Interpersonal, and Presentational Modes of Communication
exploring culture
In every module, there was a section that would give insight on the culture surrounding multiple different countries called exploracion cultural. The one in the third module, which went into details about the nap times in Spanish-speaking countries, gave me the most insight on Spanish culture.
This module challenged the way I thought about naps and being productive. I was always under the understanding that taking naps in the middle of the day was unproductive, but this module showed me the opposite. After understanding the importance of naps in their culture, I try to integrate them more into my everyday routine, which gives me a better quality of life. The Exploracion cultural sections really help me understand everyday life of a citizen in a Spanish-speaking country.

engaging in communities
I believe it is very important for us to engage in our immediate community, as well as our global communities. The more integrated and community is the safer it is for everyone else to live in that community communities help people feel less alone through the hardships that come with everyday life, one of the most diverse and accepting communities in the world is the futbol community and the sport of futbol and its events like the World Cup that is going on right now, are known for bringing countries from all over the world together under the guise of watching futbol.

interpersonal communication
And each module there was a section named Conversar. this section would provide the student the chance to speak and have the teacher grade our pronunciation, etc..
Most of the spontaneous, interpersonal communication was when we did conversation in class. This would give the students a prompt or sometimes a conversational map to assist the student with what to say next without giving them the answer. These assignments help me be able to identify what people are actually saying in Spanish way faster. The assignment that helped the most was the unit to project where we had to interview a classmate. It was difficult the first couple of tries trying to decipher and think of my next sentence but the more and more I practiced the easier it got.

No presentational speaking or listening
Interpretive listening
The estrategia de produccion specifically the aplicar section, was in activities that involve the student listening to a recording and answering back
I struggle with the specific assignments in the beginning of the semester. It was difficult to try to decipher what the recording was asking, because my knowledge of the vocabulary was very slim at the time throughout the semester, though I was able to learn the current correct pronunciation for many words because of the recording these recordings helped me form new sentences and learn new words that I didn’t know before

interpretive reading
there wasn’t a lot of interpretive reading in my course, but there was paragraphs in each cultural section, describing how things were done, according to which country it was.
In these assignments, we would have to read the paragraphs about the countries and then we would have to answer the corresponding questions with the information in the paragraphs. This helped me throughout the semester get better at identifying the important information in the paragraph at first, I spent long amounts of time, trying to figure out what the questions were asking me and where I should look for that information throughout the semester I was able to grow with these assignments
