For the most part, all my answers were not true based on the Social Media Disorder scale.  In the past year, I have completely disassociated myself with all social media platforms due to toxicity, misinformation, and biased views that don’t contribute to society at all. In some of my answers, I answered “Use to” because I felt that when I did have social media, I may have had a problem on that issue. In addition to social media disorder, many individuals focus their lives on popularity and “clicks” on social media that corrupts their thinking. Instead of living their reality, they prefer living through their social media account. While this doesn’t happen all the time, some individuals are diseased by social media and don’t realize their issue. In a cybersecurity mindset, this raises issues towards an organization if an employee is oversharing on social media. As an individual who overshares personal or organizational information can be leveraged by attacks to compromise or attack the business they work at.
