- The artifact I feel most engaged with is from Module 7 about our personal behaviors. During this assignment I realized that I was being hypocritical of my beliefs and behaviors. The part that struck me is I driving by homeless people and not helping them but looking for them to help themselves. I learned that I need to be more helpful to people who aren’t as fortunate or unable to help themselves. I thought this assignment was an eye opener for my own personal behaviors.

2. I enjoyed module 8 top artifacts assignment about stereotypes. This assignment brought back a lot of memories from high school with all the stereotypes and drama that goes on in teenage years. I liked this assignment because our society has been evolving in the last few decades and I believe stereotypes are going away. The generation X that are young adults had a very different experience with stereotypes than millennials. Also, I believe social media is playing a part in bringing different people together.

3. I enjoyed asking people close to me questions regarding similarities leading to attractions and opposites attract in Module 3. I enjoyed this assignment because I was able to understand how other people view relationship and attractiveness. Although the results were not surprising, I was interested to hear their responses to attractiveness. Furthermore, I enjoyed this assignment because my wife and I are very different, and this assignment highlighted why we get along so well.

4. I was also engaged with Module 4 assignment regarding house fires. This assignment hit home for me because while I was attending ODU’s campus in 2011 my house caught on fire. This assignment brought back a lot of memories of how my friends helped me out during that time. I was also shocked to find out that house fires takes 18 days off the average life span each year.
I chose this visual representation not to show a house on fire but show the firefighters helping put out the fire.
5. I also enjoyed writing about five trades in module six. I find these traits help me in my sales career. I would not be a good seller if I was not sympathetic to a customer’s needs. I believe being personable and caring for other people are good traits in a sales professional. I enjoyed this assignment because it feels good to write down how you have helped other people and what trait you showed while helping. Overall, I enjoyed this assignment and class.
