I have worked in education for several years. I worked as an assistant in private preschools for three years. Then, I worked at an elementary preschool that had both students with special needs and general education students. During the pandemic, I worked as a teacher for a pod school. I assisted three gifted second graders and a kindergartener with their online coursework. I also provided them supplemental work to fill in the gaps where the second graders were not getting pushed to their full educational potential. I worked as a PALS tutor for a year at an elementary school. I helped kindergarteners and second graders who needed extra assistance in reading comprehension and grammar. I have also nannied, babysat, and tutored as I have been working on my special education degree. Additionally, I volunteer at my church in the nursery.

I volunteer to help set up and clean up at events that are held at our church. One of these community events is the fall festival. This event is an outreach event for the church in addition to an economic help to the community. This event allows local craft vendors and food trucks to make a profit. Last year, the fall festival Brought in roughly four hundred people. This provides the vendors multiple opportunities to make an income.
