Bio

Over the course of my studies at Old Dominion University, I have gained first hand experience with some of the most vital tools in Cybersecurity. I have gained firsthand experience with encryption, packet sniffer, vulnerability testing, and network monitoring tools. I also had the opportunity to work with multiple operating systems with a focus in Linux and Windows. Furthermore, I have acquired in depth knowledge in the use of Ubuntu, Seed Ubuntu, Metasploitable, and Kali Linux as well as various Windows virtual machines. My cybersecurity courses over the years have taught me to think like an attacker in order to identify areas of a system that needs to be harden in order to ensure the safety of computer systems.

Going forward, I wish to broaden my knowledge in cybersecurity and I will do this by persuing cybersecurity certifications. Perusing certifications will allow me to keep up with trends in the fast growing field of cybersecurity. I will then apply my cybersecurity knowledge and experience to conduct both cyber defense and attacks for the United States.
