Background

I am a Senior Biology, Pre-Med major. During my time at ODU, I have been a member of the Honors College, a member of the NAACP, Speaker of the 88th Session of the Student Government Association, President of the Kappa Gamma Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, and I have recently started the Minority Association of Pre-Health Students (MAPS).

Apart from my involvement, I have volunteered in the Old Dominion University Molecular Biology Lab, I have served as an intern at Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine, I am a Honors College research apprentice at Eastern Virginia, I am a Planned Parenthood Patient Advocacy volunteer, and I volunteer with the American Red Cross.

Additionally, I have worked as a Biology Peer-Mentor, a tutor, and a Preview Counselor.

Following graduation, I will be interning at EVMS. This summer I will take the MCAT in hopes of gaining entrance into medical school.

Saying all of this, I am a dedicated leader of Old Dominion University.
