For my entrepreneurship experience, I had the opportunity to participate in 3 Day Startup (3DS). It is a nonprofit organization supporting early-stage entrepreneurs on their journey from idea to product and building a successful business for profit impact.
The entire program focused on teamwork. During the program, we received mentorship and training from a team of professionals. The mentors worked with us to help us develop our ideas and expand our network.
During our first day, we focused on networking with the other participants of the program. We were encouraged to brainstorm the various problems that we see around us individually and “imagine” a possible solution for them.
The next day, we were separated into different teams. We had to choose an industry and create a pitch for a possible entry into the market. My team and I explored the different industries we were interested in and how we could bring a differentiation strategy for our entry. After a lot of brainstorming, we concluded to explore the food app industry.
Summary of business created
The app was to provide its users with healthy meal plans with macros included for each recipe and freedom to add/remove some ingredients.
Below is the pitch that was developed by my team.

- Time management ( we had less than 48hr to pitch the project)
