Hello all, and welcome to my LeADERS website! My name is Latavia Williams and I am a senior at Old Dominion University. I am preparing to graduate from Old Dominion University in May of 2020 with a Bachelors in Human Services, with double minors in Psychology and Health and Wellness. Human Services is a broadly defined education that uniquely approaches the objective of meeting human needs through prevention mechanisms, remediation, or other strategies that are beneficial for improving individual’s quality of life. My passion and aspiration is to become a professional that helps individuals with their intellectual and developmental, and health needs, while advocating an active process of helping others become aware of their decisions toward developing a healthy, fulfilling lifestyle. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
My current goals prior to graduating is beginning my new position at Therapeutic Interventions, which allows the professional to explore the individual’s motives and health needs. I am looking forward to learning more in depth about becoming an advocate by providing individuals with various health resources to improve their overall mental and physical health. Eventually I would love to pursue a graduate degree related to this field in social work with a clinical focus. I am very excited to begin my career and look forward to all that the future has in store for me!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
