A dining establishment review is a review about a restaurant that tells whether you liked it or not and the reasons why. For my dining establishment review, part of my goal was to explain why I like the restaurant Tropical Smoothie, my main reasons being that the restaurant has fresh ingredients, great customer service, low prices, and a relaxing atmosphere.  The other part of my goal was to convince people to actually go to Tropical Smoothie.  During this assignment, I learned many things, the most important being that the little things matter. To write the best review I could, I had to focus in on the smallest details in the restaurant. For example, I paid attention to how many trash cans there were, where they were located, whether the food and drinks were consistent, how many tables there were, how many chair were at each table, etc. Believe it or not, without attention to detail, a paper could lose credibility of itself and of the writer. If there are no such details on one’s paper, the writer can not effectively describe what happened. A reader could, therefore, assume that the writer’s information is not reliable and that the writer had not even been there, even if they had, because the paper does not appeal to  the audience since there are no personal experiences or descriptions. To do this effectively, the best thing to do is to completely enthrall yourself in the atmosphere you’re in. The worry should not be on whether or not you are at the minimum word count for a dining establishment review; it should be whether or not you were effective at convincing the reader to believe what you are saying.
