An argumentative essay is an essay in where the writer gives their stance on an issue or topic and then provides evidence to back up their position. My goal for the argumentative essay was to show just how bad stress is among college students, a group of people who already have high levels of stress, first by giving my position that stress among this group is a serious problem that not many are taking seriously. I then presented my reasonings as to why stress is such a problem among college students, going into how it affects their education, relationships, and health both mentally and physically.  From doing this assignment, I have learned that one must provide strong evidence to support their stance. It is hard to make someone change their behavior towards something and especially their beliefs, and if one does not have good enough information to present to readers, then the readers will not take the writer that seriously, nor consider what the writer is even arguing. However, this evidence must be minimal, as there needs to be more of the writers thoughts in the essay. Although this is something I initially had trouble with, I was able to overcome this and delve deeper into my thoughts on the topic.Argumentative Essay
