My chosen major is Dental Hygiene. I have always wanted to help people since I was a kid and I believe dental hygiene is really important for everyone’s health. The main reason why I chose this career path is because, whenever I go and get my teeth cleaned, my dental hygienist would always talk about her journey throughout her year, and how fun and great it is to be a dental hygienist. Their stories really inspired me to become one like them. I am so thankful that they helped me grow an as individual who thrives to help people live a healthy life.

I don’t have experiences yet, but I am planning on volunteering this summer so that I can learn the basics of dental hygiene early. I can’t wait to learn more about the dentistry world and be a part of it.
