We covered four key areas: crime, policing, courts, and corrections. I learned how crime is classified and measured, the history and current state of policing, how criminal trials work, and the evolution of the prison system, including alternatives to incarceration and the death penalty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the most impactful aspects for me was analyzing the ethical issues within the criminal justice system, especially regarding policing and the death penalty.
