I found some examples of fake websites that attempt to portray themselves as legitimate websites as a way to attract unsuspecting individuals into being the victims of a possible cyber attack. Below are screenshots of three fake websites along with information as to what you can look for as a sign that a website may be fake and/or malicious.

The above website at a quick glance appears to be Facebook but upon closer inspection it has a different URL and so is a fake website.

This website has two things that you will often see from fake websites which are low quality design with a less than impressive user interface and typographical errors as the URL should be Hardware and not Hardwear.

The third and final example I found might look correct at first glance but it is not the actual US Postal service website and again the website design and user interface are of very poor quality which is not what you would expect of a large company or corporation so it should be a red flag for a possible malicious or fake website.
