The career of digital forensics investigator relates to the social sciences in many ways.  One that comes to mind is that the very definition of social science – the study of people and how we interact with each other, is critical to being able to investigate any digital crimes and to be able to try and determine what the motive and goals of the cyber criminal may have been.  Without an ability to understand the person being investigated it would be very challenging for a digital forensics investigator to be able to solve the puzzle and find evidence in my opinion. I think it is very relatable how Davin found his pathway to becoming a digital forensics investigator from his initial career in accounting.  Many of us can surely relate to finding things at our jobs that we are passionate about and acquiring the requisite skills to be able to take on more things over time with the goal of finding a career that is fulfilling and rewarding.  I think anyone could look to the path Davin took and use it as motivation to always be curious and to continue learning as we never know what opportunities may lie ahead.
