You can tell that your computer is safe by using different programs thats free to test your settings to make sure everything is running smoothly. On a weekly basis updating your browser plug ins will keep your computer from falling behind on any update thats needed. You can also test the firewalls by making relevant setups if needed in order to make sure it constantly is running smoothly. Making sure to permanently delete the files that are not in use and are considered sensitive to your computer. Making sure you have an anti virus, anti malware and keeping the OS and softwares up to date. Usually they will let you know when to update these things. Its important to not fall behind in updates because it will only make it that much harder when needing to download something to your device. Its a great strategy to change your passwords periodically in order to protect yourself from any information from being hacked. Its a mandatory thing to do when in college just to make sure your password is up to date and you have been logging into it frequently. Also, not opening any unrelated or suspicious link or messages or attachments that might be sent to you. That is a way for them to have access to information without you knowing. Its an easy click that can lead to all your information being leaked. In our society today we eager to open messages that we don’t know in order to see. But instead, its best that we just don’t open it and delete the whole message entirely. My mom always tells me that if you don’t recognize the number, don’t answer nor call it. You never know the information they are trying to get out of you. Also, Initialize a safe browser and keeping away from pirated materials.
