This class has helped me create and curate my e-Portfolio. I will show artifacts for three marketable skills along with three other supporting artifacts for each. I will also have a reflection essay that will discuss these topics
Skills
Below, I have listed my three most marketable skills that show experience. The first is my AWS Cloud Practitioner certification, which showcases my ability to understand and use the AWS Cloud environment. The second is my USA swimming coach certification. Although I haven’t used it in a year it shows my skills in teaching and work experience. Lastly is an article on the 98th Division of the IDF that I wrote in my free time, I am very interested in military history and current operations, and this article showcases my understanding of the topic.
AWS Supporting Artifacts
My first supporting artifact is an example of 1 out of the 11 labs I did in the AWS academy while preparing for the certification test. These labs gave me hands on experience with the AWS cloud environment. The next one is a document I made for best practices for setting up and managing AWS IAM. This document was made during my internships and intended for new employees so they can understand AWS IAM better. The last one is a network diagram for AWS. I had made one during my internship but due to the sensitive nature of the document, I cannot showcase the original one. I have shown a similar one that has the information taken out.
Swim Coaching Supporting Artifacts
These are my supporting artifacts for my USA swim coaching certification. The first two artifacts are Red Cross CPR and Water Safety Certification. These show a willingness to learn and the ability to adapt to certain jobs. I also showed my page from the ODU swimming website. This showcases that I can balance my time and get things done even while doing other things. It shows that I can work hard and focus on more than one task.
Military History and Operations
The first article is of a podcast that my Dad is a Co-Host of. I do social media for them and help promote their content. I also read the books they review and I have learned a lot about military history and operations. I have also linked a recent paper I did about a Chinese cyber attack on the American government’s Office of Personnel Management (OPM). This article is a good example of understanding and studying cyber warfare.
