“Nakisha has been and remains a hidden gem! UREG is lucky to have her join our team and she has met all expectations that we have hoped for.  She immediately impacted our team and the institution the day she started and hasn’t let up off the gas since.  Nakisha’s raw, genuine, social, and eager personality has paved the way for her success in UREG. Her main responsibility is to create a network of connections that will benefit UVA’s teaching experience.  She has not only done that for course evaluations, but now began to do that from a course perspective.  Either way, it is enhancing the student’s experience.  She is a student herself, which works in her favor.  The perspectives she offers are beneficial based on her experiences and what has worked for her, what she expects, and what could be different. Nakisha will complete her undergraduate degree at ODU in May and will immediately begin her graduate studies at Liberty University. This is huge because, at the same time, she was learning two new roles and is now fully functional in both.”
