Here’s a little about me: I was born in Nicaragua but grew up in South Florida since the early 90s. I then moved Virginia’s Hampton Roads area during the summer of 2014. As a single mom, I had put my education on hold. Who has time for that when you’ve got a daughter to raise and have a full-time job? Once she got older and became more independent, I got the itch to go back to school and finish what I once started many years ago. My plan was to graduate from Tidewater Community College, to then transfer to a 4yr university with the goal of a bachelor’s in biology. That’s how I am now a junior at Old Dominion University pursuing a degree in biology, with an emphasis (maybe) in ecology. This semester I am taking Cell Biology BIOL 292! This website is a work-in-progress. My main focus will be on my assignments for Cell Biology. Then, I will work on building it for continued use. Hopefully. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
Hello! My name is Likhy Flores (pronounced Lee-key Flo-rez). I’m glad you’ve joined me today.
